Tickets are still available for the Tri-Community Kiwanis St. Patrick’s Horse Derby, an evening of food, fun, and lighthearted competition. The event takes place Saturday, March 15, at the Pinon Hills Community Center, 10433 Mountain Road. The night kicks off with dinner at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Derby.
Guests will enjoy great food, drinks, and friendly competition with a St. Patrick’s Day twist. Instead of real horses, jockeys will mount stick ponies and line up at the starting gate. Oversized dice will decide which rider advances toward the finish line. Once bets are placed, the race begins. At the end of the night, betting tokens can be exchanged for raffle tickets and a chance to win fabulous prizes.
Tickets are available for a $25 donation, which includes dinner and ten betting tokens. Beer, wine, and soda will be available for purchase. Additional entertainment includes a 50/50 raffle, prizes, and plenty of laughter.
Tickets can be purchased at Keller Williams Realty, 4208 Phelan Road. For more information, contact Lety at 714-883-5820.
All proceeds benefit the Tri-Community Kiwanis, helping support programs for local children.
