On Monday, October 2nd, at 1:55 pm, deputies responded to a 911 call at Baldy’s Market convenience store in Phelan on the corner of Baldy Mesa Rd and Phelan Rd.
Jonathan Delorisses, a 30-year-old resident of Victorville, entered Baldy’s Market and threw a rock at a customer. The Baldy Market employees then told Delorisses to leave the market, but he picked up a squeegee and threw it at the employees. Two of the employees followed Delorisses out of the store and told him to leave the property while Delorisses, again, started throwing rocks at the employees before running away. No one was injured during the assault, and deputies were able to locate Delorisses across the street from the market. Delorisses was arrested without incident and booked at the High Desert Detention Center for assault with a deadly weapon.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact Deputy A. Salazar at Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station 760-552-6800. Callers can remain anonymous and contact We-Tip at 800-78CRIME or www.wetip.com.
