Kim Evelyn Drake Kozlowski passed away on October 13, 2021 from complications of a 2nd stroke. Kim was born on January 24, 1956 in Whittier, California and grew up in La Verne, California. She loved to introduce her self as Kimmie Drake from La Verne.
Kim graduated in 1974 from Bonita High School in La Verne and attended Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, California. Kim was married to John Kozlowski III, known as Johnny Bass, for 30 years. She had three loving daughters.
She worked at Contempo Casuals, General Dynamics, and was a server at several fine dining restaurants. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, she couldn’t wait to give you her gift. She loved Lake Havasu and enjoyed fishing, jet skiing & water skiing. She loved the water and sun. Kim loved to cook and was good at it. She was a beautiful, strong, hard working woman that would help you anytime you needed her. Her smile just made you feel good and her eyes always had a sparkle.
Kim loved and cared deeply for her family. She was a wonderful loving daughter, wife, mother & grandmother. Kim leaves behind her three daughters and their families; Lauren Diffenderffer and Robert, Cassidy Drake Seth and husband Cory, and Katelyn Kozlowski, and her grandchildren: Brooke, Nathan, Melody, Travis, Forrest, Trevor, and Raelyn. Also leaves behind her mother Wynema Drake; sister Denice and husband Robert Nelson; brother Dan and wife Treesa Drake, and brother Steve Drake. Kim was proceeded in death by her father Gary F. Drake. She will be dearly miss and her family is heartbroken.
