Regional Parks invites all youth to come explore the outdoors as a Junior Park Ranger. To earn the title of Junior Park Ranger, Regional Parks is calling on all youth, ages 6-14, to visit and explore four out of the nine County Regional Parks this summer. The booklets are free and available at each park location gate entrance. Once the booklet is complete and signed by a park staff, all newly named Junior Park Rangers will receive a prize for their achievement. The program is available through August 12. Participating parks include:
- Calico Ghost Town (Yermo)
- Cucamonga-Guasti (Ontario)
- Glen Helen (Devore)
- Lake Gregory (Crestline)
- Moabi (Needles)
- Mojave Narrows (Victorville)
- Mojave River Forks (Hesperia)
- Prado (Chino)
- Yucaipa (Yucaipa)
If a park ranger isn’t present, take a picture of yourself at that park and take the completed section to another park, who will sign off to give you credit.
