Hesperia Lake Park Reopening For Fishing

Hesperia Lake Park will open for fishing on Friday, May 1, 2020.  The park will be open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.  Fishing will be limited to a maximum of 200 wristbands at any one time.  Social distancing and face covers are required with no exceptions and no one may congregate with anyone not from their immediate household.  Those exhibiting signs of COVID-19 are asked to stay out of the park.

The store will be open for grab-and-go items only, including snacks, drinks, and fishing gear.  Registration lines and store purchase lines have been marked and visitors are asked to keep registration and payment a safe and orderly process.  There will only be two customers allowed in the store at any one time and hand sanitizing stations are available at the entrance and exit of the store.

The inlets or fingers of the lake are closed.  The catfish stock will begin Thursday, May 7, 2020 with 1000 pounds if fish.  The lake will be stocked biweekly for the month of May with the most recent stock on March 5, 2020 which was a stock of trout.  Night fishing will begin in June, the exact date will be announced soon.
