There are several opportunities to celebrate Easter with family-friendly events in the Tri-Community, including Easter egg hunts, photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, and festive breakfasts.
Easter Bunny Pictures at Wrightwood Farmers Market
Head to the Wrightwood Farmers Market on Friday, April 11th from 3:00pm-6:00pm to take pictures with the Easter Bunny. Photos are available from Sam Torres Event Photography. While at the market, don’t forget to participate in the free seed swap event coordinated by local business I Dyed Face Painting. Wrightwood Farmers Market is in the Wrightwood Community Building Parking Lot off Hwy 2.
Mountain Hardware Easter Bunny Visit
The Easter Bunny is coming to Mountain Hardware. Mr. Bunny will be at the hardware store on Sunday, April 13, during store hours. Families are invited to visit, take Easter photos, and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Easter Celebration at Phelan Farmers Market
Stop by the Phelan farmers Market on Monday, April 14th for an Easter Celebration with face painting, crafts, and photos with the Easter Bunny. $5 donation for print pictures. The Phelan Farmers Market is located at the Phelan Park and Community Building at 4128 Warbler Rd in Phelan.
Phelan Chamber Easter Egg Hunt
The Phelan Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Serrano High School football field on Saturday, April 19. The event will feature special prize eggs, games, and Easter gift basket raffles after the hunt.
Children’s games will begin at 9:30 a.m., and the hunt will start at 10 a.m. for children ages 2 to 10. Participants are encouraged to bring their own Easter baskets. The event is sponsored by Phelan Chamber members and local businesses.
Wrightwood Annual Easter Pancake Breakfast and Egg Hunt
Wrightwood’s Annual Easter Pancake Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Sunday, April 20. The Wrightwood Timberline Lions Club will host the breakfast at the Community Building from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The meal will include pancakes, eggs, and sausage, with proceeds supporting the club’s fundraising efforts. Tickets are $30 for a family of four, $10 for adults, and $7 per child.
Following breakfast, the Wrightwood Property Owners Association will host the Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt at Hollis Stewart Park at 11:00 a.m. The event is open to children from preschool through fifth grade, with designated hunt areas for age groups including ages 2 to 4, kindergarten to 1st grade, 2nd to 3rd grade, and 4th to 5th grade.
SBC Regional Parks Easter Eggstravaganza
For those looking to spend the day outdoors, SBC Regional Parks will host an Easter Eggstravaganza Hunt on Sunday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine. Participants can search for the Golden Egg at any of the participating parks to win one of two Easter baskets and take photos with the Easter Bunny.
Participating parks include Cucamonga-Guasti, Glen Helen, Mojave Narrows, Prado, Yucaipa Regional Park, and Calico Regional Park. Park hours are 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., except Calico Regional Park, which will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tri-Community families and community members have several option to get out and take part in a festive Easter event or two and enjoy the holiday, the weather (hopefully) and the spirit of springtime..
