If you are going to be traveling on the I-15 in either direction through the I-15/I-215 Interchange in Devore this coming week, be prepared for potential nighttime traffic delays.
Caltrans is scheduled to head into the final phase of the $1.67 million preventive bridge maintenance project, which includes bridge deck strengthening, concrete overlays, joint seal replacement, smoothing road surfaces, and striping the travelway. This next phase will begin on Monday evening, January 12th.
To minimize daytime traffic disruption, construction crews will perform nighttime work on the 12th, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Drivers should expect the following closures and detours:
Southbound (SB) I-15 Closures:
- Lane Closures: Alternating lane closures on SB I-15 at Devore Heights.
- Connectors: * NB I-215 to SB I-15 connector closed.
- SB I-15 Truck Bypass lane connector to SB I-15 closed.
- Ramps: * Devore Rd on-ramp to SB I-15 closed.
- Kenwood Ave on-ramp to SB I-15 closed.

- Ramps: Devore Rd on-ramp at NB I-15 closed.
Available Detours:
- From NB I-215: Detour available at Devore Rd.

Be prepared for delays as law enforcement will be present to ensure safety and enforce speed regulations. Work vehicles and crews will be moving in and out of shoulder areas. As always, be sure to slow for the cone zone by reducing your speed and staying alert. While the current closures and detours are planned, Caltrans cautions that all work is weather-dependent and subject to change or cancellation due to material availability or inclement weather.
