Nestled in the heart of Wrightwood is a magical place known as the Blossom Enrichment Center. A place where homeschool kids can come together to create community, lifelong friendships, and a love for learning. Owner and creator Genevieve Lourenco has transformed what started as a craft class in her home with her two daughters and their friends into a community classroom and hub for homeschool families to come together in the Tri-Community.
Blossom Enrichment Center officially opened at 6001 Park Drive in Wrightwood in February of 2025. Their mission is for the community to have a space to come together to learn, collaborate, and grow. The classes offered are designed to nurture the whole child, not only through academic support, but also by fostering a child’s physical, mental, and emotional growth. Large windows flood the center with natural light, giving the room a warm and inviting glow. The atmosphere and staff are incredibly friendly and engaging. It’s providing “Traditional school offerings in a homeschool way,” shared Lourenco.

There is a wide range of class offerings that provide for kids from six months of age through 12th grade. While many of the classes are designed for homeschool families, all children, homeschooled or not, are welcome to take part! The Little Learners classes include a parent participation Mommy & Me (6 months to 3 years) class, allowing mom and child to bond with each other and others while fostering new friendships. It also includes the Sprouts ( 3 to 5 years) class, designed to nurture a love for learning and curiosity while preparing the students for preschool.

Moving into Early Enrichment (TK-4th grade) and Upper Enrichment (5th-8th grade), focusing on hands-on activities, games, and worksheets for math, English language arts, and science. These serve as supplemental programs and not as a full curriculum. Looking for additional support and practice in upper levels of math? sixth grade math, Algebra 1, and Geometry are some of the new classes added this year. Spanish Level 1 and Spanish Level 2 are also new class options available for the 2025-26 school year.
If you have kids who love to craft, Blossom offers classes for that as well, such as Craft & Construct, Advanced Craft Class, and Fiber Crafts. Teens and adults looking for a new hobby may find the knitting class particularly intriguing! Let your mind and body connect with kids and advanced yoga.

For any child excited to explore the world one country at a time, connect with nature, take a journey through the seasons, or have a passion for reading, Blossom Enrichment Center has a place for them! Classes run from September through May, and tuition is paid on a month-to-month basis, allowing you to join at any time and continue for as long as you like.
“I feel really passionate that we all learn so differently, and because the classes are so small and structured, we are able to cater to different learning styles,” Lourenco continued, “ I hope that the students feel supported and nurtured and can learn and grow in comfort.”

Throughout the year, Blossom Enrichment Center will collaborate with local organizations to offer community events, weekend workshops, and wellness gatherings for all ages.
Blossom Enrichment Center is currently an approved vendor and accepting charter funds through Granite Mountain, Sage Oak, Sky Mountain, Gorman, Blue Ridge, and Taylion. They are always happy to add a new Charter to the list! All classes may also be paid out of pocket.

“This space is for everyone to learn and grow in some capacity. We have lots of offerings that could be beneficial to a lot of people in different walks of life,” stated Lourenco.
