On the morning of Monday, December 9, 2024, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Marijuana Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at a residence on the 5000 block of Honeyhill Road. The five-acre property housed a newly constructed 120’ x 40’ metal building located along its eastern fence line.
Inside the building, investigators discovered a staggering amount of processed marijuana packed in over 3,000 trash bags. Each bag, weighing between 30 to 50 pounds, was stacked over 12 feet high, filling the massive structure from one end to the other.
Over the course of two days, the Marijuana Enforcement Team, working alongside San Bernardino County Code Enforcement and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, confiscated 51 truckloads of marijuana. Officials estimate the total haul weighed more than 90,000 pounds.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been made as of yet. This seizure underscores the ongoing challenges law enforcement faces in combating illegal marijuana cultivation and distribution in California. Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Marijuana Enforcement Team, Gangs/Narcotics Division at (909) 387-8400.
