AARP Foundation Tax-Aide and the IRS are jointly sponsoring free tax assistance for seniors or low- to moderate-income individuals, offering free tax preparation and e-filing. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide will complete and file your tax return—all for free.
This service is available on Feb. 10 and Feb. 24 from 8:00 am to 11:30 a.m. at the Phelan Senior Center, 4128 Warbler Road, Phelan. It is first come, first served.
You must bring last year’s tax return and Social Security cards for everyone on the return (a Social Security statement with pink stripes is acceptable). Bring all W-2s, 1099s, 1095s, and NECs—all printed tax documents you received for 2024. No electronic forms will be accepted.
You must have a government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.) for yourself and your spouse. For joint returns, both spouses must be present to sign the return.
