On Friday, October 4th 2024
Senior Line Dancing – From 8:30am – 11:00am, great fun and exercise while learning to line dance and the best part is it’s FREE! Location: Phelan Senior Center at the Phelan Community Park, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.
Wrightwood Farmers Market – From 4:00pm – 7:00pm, locally grown fresh produce, artisan baked goods, jams, coffee, olive oil, honey, natural beauty products & soaps, and crafters can often be found at the Market. Location: In the Wrightwood Community Building at the corner of Park Drive and Hwy 2.
Friday Night Steak Dinner at The VFW – From 5:00pm-7:00pm, all are welcome to visit the VFW and get a complete delicious steak dinner ($22), alternate meals change each week between Ribs($14), Chicken($12), Pork Chops($12), and Fish n Chips($12) or a vegetarian alternate dinner. Kids meals available too! Proceeds help support the programs and outreach of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Phelan. Location: VFW Post 9415 in Phelan at the corner of Nielson and Johnson Roads.
Free Community Yoga– From 6:00pm-7:00pm. First Friday of every month enjoy a free community yoga class in Wrightwood. All levels are welcome. Free event but donations are appreciated. Location: Love Roots Yoga Shala 1329 Hwy 2 2nd Floor Wrightwood.

Phelan Phamily Phun Days– From 9:00am-5:00pm. Champagne Classic Car Show, Parade, Phun Zone, Vendors, Exhibits & Demos, Contests, Live Music, good food, & more! Check www.phundays.com for more info. Location: Downtown Phelan on Phelan Road.
Wrightwood Library Book Sale– From 10:00am-3:00pm. Fill a grocery bag with books for $5. Giant selection to choose from. Free Make & Take Craft to bring home and activities for everyone. Benefits Wrightwood Library programs. Location: Wrightwood Library 6011 Pine St in Wrightwood.
Art Gallery Exhibit Opening– From 6:00pm-8:00pm. Free art opening reception for local wildlife photographer Kameron Orr. His artistic photographs highlighting the intricate patterns, vibrant colors, and diverse species of reptiles, will be on display and available for purchase. Location: Community Arts Center & Gallery at 6045 Park Dr. in Wrightwood.

Ashtanga Yoga Class – From 9:00am. Get your body moving with this yoga class that connects mind, body and breath. $15 for classes. Location: Love Roots Yoga Shala 1329 Hwy 2- 2nd Floor in Wrightwood.
Canine Carnival – From 10:00am-4:00pm. Bring your dog and try various sports. $10 each. Dog sporting activities, silent auction, raffle, carnival games & more. Doggy Chef Treat competition. Proceeds help build new Dog Sports Park. Location: High Desert Dog Sports 8820 Sierra Vista Rd in Phelan.
Mindfulness Practices & Mediation– From 11:00am-12:30pm. Free workshop to learn mindfulness and guided meditation with teachers Wan & Marshall. Free event, but donations welcomed. Location: Love Roots Yoga Shala 1329 Hwy 2, 2nd Floor in Wrightwood.
Karaoke at the VFW– From 1:00pm. Join the fun. Public welcome to this fun, music event. Location: VFW Post #9415 at 4892 Nielson Road in Phelan.
