90-Day Forbearance On Student Loan Debt

The Governor Newsom announced 21 out of 24 of the largest student loan servicers in California have agreed to a 90-Day forbearance which impacts over 1.1 million Californians. There will be no late fees, no fines and no impact to credit ratings. Servicers will also support the development of new payment plans for future processing.
