The Women’s Council of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Wrightwood is busy with its famous and delicious pumpkin bread. Each November, for well over 25 years, the council has baked the bread using a recipe acquired from a monastery in Hollywood.
This year, the sale will be held two consecutive weekends in November: Friday and Saturday, Nov. 15-16 and Nov. 22-23, beginning at 9 a.m. and continuing until sold out in front of Mountain Hardware in Wrightwood. The pumpkin bread sells quickly, so come early and don’t miss out! Breads are $10 each — cash only. Limits may apply.
Weather permitting, the sale will be held. The Pumpkin Bread Sale has become a time-honored tradition in the Tri-Community, with many counting down the days until the sale.
