The transformation of the Wrightwood Branch Library is now in progress. To accommodate a scheduled interior remodel, the branch began a temporary closure on Wednesday, March 11, and is expected to reopen its doors to the public on June 8.
While the physical building is closed for improvements, the San Bernardino County Library system remains committed to serving the Wrightwood community through digital and regional resources.
All digital services, including e-books and online resources, remain available 24/7. For in-person programs and services, Wrightwood library goers are invited to visit the following nearby branches:
- Phelan Memorial Branch: 9800 Clovis Rd., Phelan
- Apple Valley Newton T. Bass Branch: 14901 Dale Evans Pkwy., Apple Valley
- Hesperia Branch: 9650 7th Ave., Hesperia
The Friends of the Library will remain active throughout the renovation period:
- Spring Basket Fundraiser: Plans are underway to host the annual fundraiser at the Farmer’s Market during the first two Fridays in May.
- Monthly Book Club: Meetings will continue at alternative locations during the remodel.

The staff and the Friends of the Library appreciate the community’s patience and look forward to welcoming everyone back to the refreshed Wrightwood Branch this June.
