Wrightwood Blues Society Presents the “Not-So-Newlywed” Game Show for Valentine’s Day

Looking for a unique way to spend Valentine’s Day with dinner, laughter, and live entertainment? On Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m., the Wrightwood Blues Society will present its third annual “Not-So-Newlywed” Game Show at the Wrightwood Community Building.

This lighthearted evening takes a playful step back in time, inspired by the classic 1970s television game show format. Adult audiences can expect a comedic host and four local “celebrity” couples competing to outwit one another while providing plenty of laughs along the way.

This year’s featured couples. and the charities they are representing, include Suzi and Paul McKinney, married 20 years, highlighting The Littlest Pet Shop; Janice Quick and Ben Smith, married 21 years, supporting the Wrightwood Chamber of Commerce; Barbara and Rodger Whitten, married 22 years, benefiting Westside German Shepherd Rescue; and Lori and Bob Gibbs, married 37 years, representing the St. Jude’s Juvenile Diabetes Fund.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Wrightwood Blues Society Music Scholarship program, also known as Wrightwood’s Got Talent, which supports local youth pursuing music education.

Tickets are $40 for Wrightwood Blues Society members and $50 for non-members and include a lasagna dinner. Doors open at 5 p.m., with beverages available, followed by dinner at 6 p.m. The evening will also feature romantic love songs performed by acclaimed local musicians.

Tickets for this popular Valentine’s event are limited and are expected to sell out. Advance purchase is recommended and can be made at wrightwoodblues.org. The Wrightwood Community Building is located at 1275 Park Drive. For additional information, call (760) 574-8231.
