Since the earliest days of humanity, people have created art, music, dance, theater, and more. As the pandemic wanes, we can return to sharing these artistic experiences once again. “In addition to inspiring creativity in all of us, the arts and artists are second responders, helping us heal individually and as a community,” says Nancy Kupka, Membership Chair of the Wrightwood Arts Center (WAC). In this spirit, the WAC is reopening with a slate of activities and classes: May was an outdoor Wine & Watercolor class, a membership drive in June, kids’ art classes in July, diverse art exhibits & member gatherings throughout the Fall and upcoming Arts Adventures!
We are celebrating reopening our doors and invite you to join us. It is because of you, artists, art organizations, enthusiasts, and patrons, that we exist. Please join us as we look toward a more vibrant and robust 2021! June is the month to join or renew your membership in the Wrightwood Arts Center. Your support is greatly appreciated! Save the date for May 21, 2022, for the inaugural Wrightwood Arts & Wine Festival.
The Wrightwood Arts Center, a 501©3 nonprofit organization staffed by local artists and volunteers, is dedicated to community service and collaboration through offerings of multidisciplinary classes, performances, and programs open to all. Our vision is that Wrightwood will become a destination for dynamic engagement with the Arts!
