WPOA Donates School Supplies to Support Wrightwood Elementary Students

Tri-Community NewsPlus

In support of its ongoing partnership with Wrightwood Elementary School, the Wrightwood Property Owners Association (WPOA) donated a wide range of school supplies to assist students and teachers at the start of the 2025 academic year.

During August, WPOA board members delivered 60 spiral-bound subject notebooks, 25 learners’ pencils, 60 glue sticks, a box of erasers, 21 boxes of colored pencils, 20 12-packs of crayons, 16 24-packs of crayons and 365 No. 2 pencils. The association also provided additional materials for use in the school’s store.

Beyond its support for classroom needs, the WPOA contributed to the Wrightwood Elementary School’s Animal Awareness Month back in May and plans to donate socks during the school’s upcoming “Socktober” event, a spirited campaign where students and community members donate new socks for those in need, which are then distributed to local homeless shelters.

Wrightwood Elementary is also an active partner in the Wrightwood Property Owners Association’s Halloween candy campaign, by helping to donate candy for the local merchants in town, and distributing it to children who are trick-or-treating on the town’s busy Halloween night.
