The Victorville Police Department is offering a free, in-person Teen Driver Safety class on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 5:30 p.m. The class is designed to help young drivers and their parents learn crucial information about staying safe on the road.
Topics will include tips to avoid collisions, safe driving habits, the dynamics of a crash, and the consequences of poor decision-making behind the wheel. The session will also cover the legal ramifications and civil liabilities that can affect both teen drivers and their parents.
Registration is required for the event, and teens must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The class will take place at 14200 Amargosa Road in Victorville.
