Learn more about the artist, Chelsea Brummet as we asked her about her art and creative inspiration:
When did you know that you wanted to become an artist?
It’s in my blood. Truly since I can remember!!

Tell us about your artwork.
I do acrylic pouring, using acrylic paint and my own medium I make myself. Alcohol ink paintings, and of course I love pencil portraits and sketching.
Where do you find inspiration for your artwork?
Nature, animals, people, and my never ending racing mind. Inspiration is easy to come by, it’s all around us. 🙂
When you’re not creating art what do you enjoy doing?
Spending time with the love of my life, my daughter Lyra. 🙂
Is there any advice you would give to aspiring artists, hoping to be featured in a gallery some day?
Never give up. Remember “ To get to places you’ve never been, you must do things you’ve never done”. Take chances, and don’t be too hard on yourself!
Chelsea Brummet’s art will be on display at the Community Arts Center & Gallery in Wrightwood throughout the month of January and will be available for purchase.
