The Tri-Community Kiwanis Club is currently seeking sponsors for its popular Spring Fling Horse Derby, scheduled for March 28, 2026. The evening promises a lively mix of dinner, horse racing fun, and community camaraderie, while offering local businesses a unique opportunity to advertise and increase community awareness.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Kiwanis service projects serving the communities of Phelan, Pinon Hills, and Wrightwood.
The derby will feature nine races, with several sponsorship options available. A Race Sponsor receives prominent recognition, including having their name and logo associated with a specific race, the opportunity to name a horse, listing on the official racing form, and placement of their name and logo on placemats at each table. The Race Sponsor fee is $100 and includes sponsorship of one race and one horse.
Businesses and individuals may also choose to become a Horse Sponsor for one or more races. Horse Sponsors will have their name listed next to their sponsored horse on the racing form, the opportunity to name the horse, and recognition on event placemats. The cost for Horse Sponsorship is $50 per horse.
Additional support is welcomed through the donation of prizes or gift certificates from local businesses with a minimum value of $25. Donors will be recognized on the event placemats.
