The Wrightwood Veterans Memorial organization invites the Tri-Community to its Veterans Day Ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 11. The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. with the solemn ringing of the Armistice Bell at Wrightwood Memorial Park, 1274 Evergreen Road. The program will include the raising of the flag, a Quilts of Valor presentation, the laying of the wreath, patriotic songs performed by Wrightwood Elementary students, and the reading of the newest names added to the Honor Bricks at the park.
The Phelan Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9415, 4892 Nielson Road, also welcomes the community to its Veterans Day Ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025. The event begins at 11 a.m. with the raising of the American flag by Boy Scout Troop 351, followed by a patriotic medley performed by the Serrano High School Choir. The ceremony will include a formal flag retirement presented by the Boy Scouts, a tradition observed each year on Memorial Day and Veterans Day. A community potluck lunch will follow, and attendees are encouraged to bring a dish to share.
All members of the public are invited to attend either event as the Tri-Community comes together to honor local veterans and remember those who have served and sacrificed for the nation.
