TIMMOTHY SEAN CRIMMINS • MAY 31, 1956 - December 6, 2020

Timothy Sean Crimmins died on December 6, 2020 at the age of 64  from COVID-19 and pneumonia at Loma Linda Hospital.  Tim was born in San Francisco on May 31, 1956.  He grew up as one of four siblings in Escondido, CA.  His parents were Larry Crimmins and Marilyn Crimmins-Tabor.  Tim graduated from Orange Glen High School in 1974, attended trade school, and studied Mechanical Industry.  While employed at Rockwell in Palmdale, he worked on B1 Bombers.   Tim continued to work in Aerospace at Micro-Craft, and was a salesman for Castrol Oil.  In 2002, he started his own company Lube Systems of CA.

He settled in Wrightwood.  And soon married Tammy A. Tindall on August 17, 1985 at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Wrightwood.  They spent 35 loving years together and raised their two sons Sean and Corey.  On August 7, 2007 Tammy gave the ultimate gift of love: a new kidney to her husband.  Tim had been diagnosed with end-stage renal disease in 2002.  He had been treated for four long years prior to the transplant.

Tim was a very active volunteer in the community.  He worked in all levels for the Snowline Communities Youth Football organization from 1986 through 2002.  He was the president and a coach for 14 years, known as Coach Tim, and was the co-founder of Snowline Youth Football.  He was an avid Chargers fan.  Tim loved boating in Lake Mead, and enjoyed playing basketball and frisbee golf.

Tim is survived  by his wife, Tammy, two sons Sean C. Crimmins and Corey C. Crimmins, his sisters Mollie Smith and Maureen Crimmins, two granddaughters Trysta Crimmins and Hadley Crimmins, and  cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Tim lived the expression, “Never let the grass grow under your Feet!” Timothy was a loving father, a wonderful husband, a fun Grandpa, a great brother, and a friend to many in his community, and to his business associates.

Tim will be remembered for his helpfulness, kindness, generosity, friendship, curiosity, energy, and selflessness.  Due to COVID 19 a private family remembrance was held.

Donations in Timothy’s name may be made to the Snowline Communities Youth Football and Cheer, PO Box 293292, Phelan CA or the High Desert Cheer, 17537 Bear Valley Road, Hesperia, CA 92345.
