Phelan Pinon Hills CSD free classes for April are underway. Join the fun each week at the Phelan Community Center located at 4176 Warbler Road & Sheep Creek Road. RSVP is required for each class every week at www.pphcsd.org/events to save your spot. Please, if you sign up and can’t attend that week, please notify the office at 760-868-1212, so someone else can fill that spot.
KID’S JUDO CLASS for ages 10 and older is every Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The class is taught by a certified 2nd Degree Black Belt United States Judo Association. No experience is required. No uniforms are needed. All are welcome. Class is free. RSVP is required at www.pphcsd.org/events.
COMIC BOOK CLUB is held every Thursday from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. for 8 weeks starting April 2nd in the Phelan Community Center. Learn how to create your own comics through visual storytelling and a variety of materials. Each week is a different subject, and by the 8th ,week you have created a comic book. Free class for ages 7-14 years. RSVP each week to save your spot at www.pphcsd.org/events.
EARTH DAY ART CONTEST for kids grades kindergarten through 12th grade who are attending a school in Phelan or Pinon Hills have a chance to win $100.00. Stop by the Phelan Pinon Hills CSD office and pick up a flyer with the rules and how to enter or go to pphcsd.org/events and download the flyer.
