Bring your friends and family to support the Tri-Community 5K Fiesta Fundraiser and make a real difference! This annual event raises funds to provide scholarships for Snowline Unified School District high school seniors and the Miss Phelan Queen Scholarship Program.
Registration began on March 1, and the race will take place on April 26. Whether you prefer running, walking, or racing, you can participate in the 5K (3.1-mile) race, which offers both competitive and non-competitive divisions. The competitive race starts at 9 a.m., followed by the non-competitive race at 9:15 a.m. Race divisions include youth ages 12 and under, teenagers 13 to 18, adults 19 and older, and a non-competitive category for those who want to complete the course at their own pace. Registration is $30 per entry, and participants can sign up at www.tc5kfiesta.com.
The course includes dirt trails with sandy, rocky, uneven, and hilly terrain, but a portion of the race will take place on the football field track, providing an alternative for those who prefer a smoother route. Participants are welcome to walk, run, push, or roll at their own pace. Strollers and pets are allowed, though certain areas may be crowded.
This event is organized by the Tri-Community Kiwanis and the Phelan Chamber of Commerce to support youth in the community. Register today to receive a bib, medal, and giveaways, and help invest in the education of local students!
