The Tri-Community Kiwanis Mardi Gras Horse Derby is coming to the Pinon Hills Community Center, 10433 Mountain Road, on Saturday, March 9th, 2024 at 5:30 pm. Mark your calendar. Enjoy an evening of food, drink, friendship, and horse racing…sort of. Stick Ponies are mounted by guests and lined up at the starting gate. Other guests throw giant dice to determine which “Jockeys” will advance to the finish line. Once all bets are placed, the race begins. At the night’s end, betting tokens are exchanged for raffle tickets for fabulous gifts.
Tickets to this event are a $25 donation includes dinner and ten tokens. Beer, wine, and soda will be available for an additional cost. Additional tokens may be purchased throughout the evening. Prizes galore, 50/50, and lots of fun!! Tickets will be available for purchase at Keller Williams Realty located at 4208 Phelan Road. Contact Lety at 714-883-5820 for further information.
