Beginning June 20, 2025, all activities for the Phelan Seniors will move to the Pinon Hills Senior Center, as part of an effort to consolidate both senior programs into one location while maintaining separate schedules.
The Phelan/Pinon Hills–High Desert Seniors group previously held meetings at both the Phelan Senior Center and the Pinon Hills Senior Center. Going forward, all activities will take place at the Pinon Hills Senior Center, located at 10433 Mountain Road in Pinon Hills.
Organizers said the move is intended to streamline setup and cleanup, which had to be duplicated at both sites. The Pinon Hills facility offers more space and is better equipped to accommodate a wide range of senior activities and equipment.
While the location is changing, the schedules for each group remain the same. The Pinon Hills Seniors will continue to meet on Mondays and Thursdays, and the Phelan Seniors will continue to meet on Tuesdays and Fridays. With both programs operating under one roof, seniors now have access to activities five days a week.
Activities include craft days, cribbage, dominoes, game days, exercise, potluck lunches, bunco and more. All High Desert seniors are welcome to participate, socialize and enjoy the expanded offerings.
