Only Two Shows Remaining for Serrano Theater Arts’ “Game of Tiaras”

Tri-Community NewsPlus

The final two performances of “Game of Tiaras” presented by Serrano Theatre Arts Department will be on March 6th and 7th. Performances begin at 7 p.m. and will be held in the Serrano Performing Arts Center, located at 9292 Sheep Creek Road in Phelan.

“Game of Tiaras” is a clever and comedic crossover of William Shakespeare’s King Lear and the popular television series Game of Thrones. A story of a magical kingdom in the midst of a power struggle, when the king decides to divide his empire among his three daughters, Cinderella, Belle, and the Snow Queen (who bears no resemblance to any copyrighted character). What follows is a series of terrible and hilariously tragic events.

Tickets are available online at gofan.co or by calling 760-868-3222, ext. 6. Ticket prices are $8 for adults, $6 for students, and $6 for seniors age 55 and older.

The Serrano Theatre Arts Department, under the direction of Beverly Quinn, presents three main-stage productions each year. The department’s final production of the 2025–26 school year will be Disney’s Frozen, scheduled for April 24th and 25th, and May 1st and May 2nd, with a matinee and an evening performance.

Upcoming Serrano Theatre Arts events include the Spring One Act Play Festival on March 27th, the Showcase of Scenes on May 11th, and closing out the school year is the Masterpiece Theatre and Awards on May 18th.
