The Sunset Community Little League is now accepting registrations for its 2026 baseball and softball season. Serving youth in Phelan, Piñon Hills, and surrounding communities, the league expects nearly 400 players to participate in what promises to be a fun and competitive season. Registration is open online at www.sunsetcll.com and will close on January 31, 2026. Registration fees are $120 for lower divisions and $160 for upper divisions. Fees include a full season of play, a team jersey, hat, hoodie, and a photo package. Practices are scheduled to begin in mid-February, with Opening Day set for Saturday, April 11, 2026.
Wrightwood Little League has also opened registration for its Spring season. Families are encouraged to register before February to take advantage of lower fees and avoid late registration costs. Practices will begin in March, with games starting the first week of April and continuing through Memorial Day in May. Registration information for Wrightwood Adult Co-Ed Softball had not been announced as of the NewsPlus newspaper print deadline. In previous seasons, games have been held on Sundays at Wrightwood Elementary School’s lower baseball field. Updates and the upcoming schedule will be posted at wrightwoodcsd.org/recreation.
