The San Bernardino County Sheriff ‘s Department is offering Lady Be Aware training for women who want to develop the necessary attitude, skills and knowledge that will help prevent them from becoming victims. This course covers all types of safety, including cyber safety, home safety, situation awareness, and physical safety. All participants also get hands-on self defense training, including how to shoot three different types of firearms.
A single day training will be offered on Saturday, February 24th from 8am-5pm at the Sheriff’s Department Training Center located at 18901 Institution Road in Devore. Wear comfortable clothing. No flip flops of shorts. Classes fill up fast, don’t wait to sign-up. The cost is $75 for the full-day class.
