Wrightwood is preparing for the Christmas season with its Wrightwood Mountain Holiday Celebration 2025, presented by the Wrightwood Chamber of Commerce on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 28 and 29. The two-day celebration begins Friday at 10 a.m. The Village Tree Lighting ceremony will take place in town at 6 p.m. Kids and families can meet, greet, and take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Come early and enjoy festive music and food, and start your holiday shopping until 8 p.m.
The Great Elf Hunt will start Friday. Join the fun by visiting participating village businesses to pick up a form. While there, look for the elf letter hidden somewhere inside. Write the letter on your form to help solve the holiday phrase. When completed, return your form to one of the participating businesses to be entered in a drawing for great prizes donated by local merchants.
The village comes alive again Saturday, the 29th, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with holiday spirit seen and heard throughout the village, featuring colorful lights and decorations, music, activities for children, holiday photo opportunities, and a North Pole mailbox for letters to Santa. The town of Wrightwood will feature local artisans, eateries, and unique gift shops for holiday gift-giving. Village merchants will stay open both days until 8 p.m.
Plan to spend a fun-filled day with holiday spirit that will culminate at 6 p.m. with the 24th annual Parade of Lights in the village. The parade will travel through the heart of Wrightwood on Park Drive. Parade entries consist of motorized vehicles, floats, bicycles, wagons, buggies, and more, all decorated with Christmas lights and decorations that will brighten the evening. For entry regulations and an application to participate in the parade, fill out a form available online at wrightwoodchamber.org. There is no entry fee to participate in the parade, but you must submit an application. Entries will be judged in six categories. Visit the Chamber’s website for a complete schedule of events for the two-day celebration. The Wrightwood Mountain Holiday Celebration will make a great family tradition.
