Retired US Navy Cheif and Snowline Assistant Superintendant Alan Miller is honoring those lost at Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941, with Heritage Honor Guards Aubri Elder, Olivia Adams, Devin Hidalgo, and Collin Gormley.

On Tuesday, December 7th, The Heritage Honor Guard was joined by US Navy Chief (ret) Allan Miller. A simple ceremony focused on remembering the sacrifice it takes to keep us free and the memory of those brave Americans lost on that “Day of Infamy” 80 years ago at Pearl Harbor ushering the United States into World War II. Heritage School has a long tradition of honoring and remembering that freedom is not free. The Honor Guard was envisioned by History teacher Todd Anton and is led and trained by Lt. Dynes of the SHS Honor Guard. Dedicated students Oliva Adams, Aubri Elder, Devin Hidalgo, Collin Gormley, have chosen to serve and provide honors for all Heritage events. Duty, honor, and country are alive and well at Heritage.
