The U.S. Border Patrol will be hosting a career information workshop on Tuesday, Sept. 17, providing a chance for job seekers to explore career opportunities with the Department of Homeland Security.
The event, organized by the High Desert America’s Job Center of California, will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 17310 Bear Valley Road, Suite 109, Victorville. National recruiter Brian Goodman will be present to discuss the recruitment process and details about working with Border Patrol.
The agency offers competitive salaries ranging from $61,965 to $117,896 annually. New agents may qualify for a $20,000 hiring incentive, with an additional $10,000 available for those accepting positions in hard-to-fill locations, bringing the total incentive to $30,000.
