LifeStream Blood Bank’s mobile unit will be in the Tri-Community in August, offering local residents the chance to make a life-saving difference by donating blood. Community members are encouraged to participate, as the need for blood donations remains high in the region.
The mobile unit will visit Wrightwood at two separate locations: On Friday, August 22, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Wrightwood Community Building during the Farmer’s Market, located at 1275 Highway 2. And, on Sunday, August 24, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hillside Community Church, 3221 Highway 2.
LifeStream Blood Bank emphasizes that donating blood is a simple yet impactful way to help those in medical need. All volunteer blood donors must be at least 15 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Those under 17 are required to provide a signed parental consent form. LifeStream staff members will be on-site to guide donors through the process, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience. Each donation has the potential to save multiple lives, making every contribution valuable.
