The Wrightwood Arts Center is celebrating the depth and diversity of local creativity with its H.D. Glass Artist Exhibition, a month-long showcase featuring artists from Wrightwood and the High Desert region. The exhibition showcases an impressive array of glass-working styles, including blown glass, neon, fused glass, and more, highlighting the diverse ways artists transform molten material into expressive works of art.
The opening reception will be held on December 6, 2025, from 5–7 p.m. at the Wrightwood Arts Center located at 6045 Park Drive in Wrightwood. Community members are invited to meet the artists, explore the pieces, and learn more about the intricate processes behind each technique. Entry to the exhibition is free.
The featured glass artists include: David Svenson, Kazumi Svenson, Chiara Lutz, Asha Ramirez, Colleen Sparlin, Ben Wilson, Reyna Rivera, Lurch, Jill Carlton Payne, Amanda Santos and Alessandro Corsaro.
Each artist brings a unique perspective to the medium, ranging from delicate, whimsical forms to bold, experimental works, offering visitors a chance to see the full spectrum of what glass art can be.
The show runs through December 28th and is open to the public during regular gallery hours, which are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12–5 p.m. Visitors can explore the exhibition throughout the month and immerse themselves in the inspirations behind each piece.
