Phelan Pinon Hills CSD is offering free classes in November at the Phelan Community Center located at 4176 Warbler Road & Sheep Creek Road. RSVP is required. Pre-register at www.pphcsd.org/sign-up-for-classes to save your spot.
Starting the Fall classes is a six-week Drumming Class on Thursdays from 4-5 p.m. for ages 7-13 years. The first class is November 6th, and each Thursday thereafter through Dec 18th. Drums are provided. RSVP is required for each class. Classes are provided by Drawing Together, a local non-profit since 2019.
Fall Painting Class- November 8th, Ages 5-12 at 9 a.m. Ages 13 and up at 11 a.m. You don’t need to be an artist. Just come and enjoy a Fall Art class. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. RSVP required at www.pphcsd.org/sign-up-for-classes.
Kid’s Fall Baking Class- Learn to make yummy Pumpkin Pie Twists. November 22nd, 10 a.m-12 p.m. Ages 5-17. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. RSVP required at www.pphcsd.org/sign-up-for-classes.
Animal Care Mobile Services is offering pet licensing, vaccinations, and microchipping to residents in the unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County on Thursday, November 20th, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Phelan Community Center. The 5th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is on Friday, December 5th, at the Phelan Park. Beginning at 5:30 pm Hot Chocolate is served, at 5:45 pm with the Serrano Choir performing a medley of holiday songs along with community Christmas caroling, followed by the Tree Lighting Ceremony and Santa’s arrival at 6:00 pm. Bring a toy to donate to the SB County Fire Department’s Spark of Love Toy Drive.
