The Women of Light Ministry from Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Wrightwood is busy baking their famous and delicious pumpkin bread. Each November, for well over 25 years, the women have baked this popular bread using a recipe acquired from a monastery in Hollywood.
This year, the sale will be held two consecutive Saturdays in November: Nov. 15 and Nov. 22 beginning at 9 a.m. and continuing until sold out in front of Mountain Hardware in Wrightwood. The pumpkin bread sells quickly, so come early and don’t miss out! Breads are $20 per loaf — cash only. Limits may apply.
Weather permitting, the sale will be held. The Pumpkin Bread Sale has become a time-honored tradition in the Tri-Community, with many counting down the days until the sale.
