The 30th Tri-Community Veterans Dinner will be held Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024, in the Serrano High School gym to honor the brave men and women who have served in the military. Students of the Heritage Builders Club will serve dinners while visiting with the veterans as they share their stories and histories with the students. Over the past 30 years, more than 25,000 meals have been served and more than 1,500 students have served veterans.
Veterans and one guest are invited to a free Veterans Appreciation Dinner. Tickets are required, and each meal must have a ticket. Tickets are available for pickup at Phelan Pizza Factory, Flagstar Bank locations in Phelan and Wrightwood, Victorville Motors, Chick-fil-A, and A-Tech Transmission in Hesperia. Dinner will be served from 5 to 6:30 p.m., and doors open at 4:30 p.m. This appreciation dinner is sponsored by the Tri-Community Kiwanis Club, Snowline Joint Unified School District, Pizza Factory Phelan, Flagstar Bank in Phelan and Wrightwood, Victorville Motors, Chick-fil-A, and Heritage School. Serrano High School gym is located at 9292 Sheep Creek Road in Phelan.
