The Wrightwood Friends of the Library is offering an out-of-this-world Space Exploration book auction for the month of June. Due to a generous donation from an astronomer with an impressive collection of books, several books on display are available for bids, including:

EARTH FROM SPACE: SMITHSONIAN NATIONAL AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM by Andrew Johnston
TOTALITY: The Great American Eclipses of 2017 and 2024 by Mark Littmann & Fred Espenak
THE HUBBLE COSMOS: 25 YEARS OF NEW VISTAS IN SPACE by David H. Dovorkin & Robert W. Smith
BEYOND: VISIONS OF THE INTERPLANETARY PROBES by Michael Benson
Be sure to visit the Wrightwood Library to see these books on display and place your final bids by Wednesday, June 26th at 3:00 pm.
Also, check out the Wrightwood Friends of the Library Bookstore in the library for discounted books about the planets, comets, meteors, and more. All proceeds from the bookstore directly support the Wrightwood Public Library services and programs, including the Summer Library Events happening right now. The Wrightwood Public Library is located at 6011 Pine St. (corner of Apple and Pine) and is open Monday through Wednesday from 11 am to 7 pm, Thursday from 10 am to 6 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. It is closed on Fridays and Sundays.
