Wrightwood Mountain Holiday Celebration this year will still be held on the Friday and Saturday following Thanksgiving on November 27th and 28th. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic it will a little different this year. Pandemic precautions will be in place during this Holiday event. Decorations, lights, and music will brighten up the Village. Many Village shops will be open till 8pm some with special activities. This is a good time to start your holiday shopping and get into the holiday spirit while shopping locally. Unfortunately Santa and Mrs Claus won’t be able to visit with the children, but there will be a North Pole Mail Box located at Applewood Court, 1309 Evergreen Road. Children will be able to fill out a Santa letter form and drop it in the North Pole Mail Box so Santa can read their letters in time for Christmas.
A giant 80ft tree will be lit up for all to see on your way to the Village. It is located on Hwy 2 between Willow and Cedar Streets. As of press time the Parade of Lights usually held on Saturday evening is still being considered.
Please stop by the Village shops and restaurant. Remember to wear your mask. Make it a safe visit.
