VFW Swap Meet

The Phelan VFW Post 9415 will be hosting a Swap Meet on June 12 starting at 7:00 am. All are welcome to shop and sell. It’s not too late if you are interested in selling the cost is $5 per spot. All you need to do is show up with your stuff. For more information call 760-868-1999. See you there!
Wrightwood Ice Cream Social
June 12 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Wrightwood Property Owners Association is inviting Wrightwood residents to the annual Ice Cream Social on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 1-3pm at the Wrightwood Community Center’s parking lot. Mingle with old friends and meet new Wrightwood residents.
Community Cleanup & Tire Drop Off Day
June 12 @ 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Tri-Community residents can take advantage of a Free Cleanup & Free Tire Day. Residents may drop off for free residential trash and yard waste, recyclable materials, and up to 9 tires (must be off rim). No commercial tires or commercial waste. No hazardous materials or e-waste. These items can be dropped off in Wrightwood at the Hazardous Waste Event, see below.
The Free Community Cleanup Day is for residents who live within the PPHCSD boundaries. Must show proof of residency. Drop-off is at the CR&R Service Yard located at 9828 Buckwheat Road in Phelan. Sponsored by Phelan Pinon Hills CSD, CR&R, and CalRecycle.
Hazardous Waste Collection Event
June 12 @ 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors and the San Bernardino County Protection District are co-sponsoring a Tri-Community Household Hazardous Waste Collection set for Saturday, June 12, 2021, from 9 am-1 pm in Wrightwood at 1450 Hwy 2 (county transportation yard). Masks are required. The guidelines are Household Waste only. No business-generated waste accepted. SB County residents only. ID is required. No early birds! Waste brought before 9 am will not be accepted. Waste must be accepted by County Fire Department personnel.
Transport no more than 15 gallons or 125 lbs for free disposal of used oil, filters, and other household hazardous waste. Used oil filters are 100% recyclable. No solid waste; such as business/commercial wastes, radioactive waste, asbestos, explosives, tires, appliances, or furniture.
