Thanksgiving is quickly approaching, and many families depend upon the Tri-Community Helping Hands food bank, which serves Phelan, Pinon Hills, and Wrightwood. In preparation for the upcoming holiday season, the organization is asking the community to lend a helping hand and provide a Thanksgiving meal for those in need. The 501.c3 nonprofit is asking for donations of just one regular-size can of green beans, corn, peaches, or yams and a box of stuffing. Donated items can be dropped off at the Wrightwood CSD building located at 1275 Highway 2 in Wrightwood from Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM -1:00 PM or at the United Methodist Church located at 1543 Barbara Street in Wrightwood, open from 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
All other donations can be mailed to Tri-Community Helping Hands, a 501.c3 nonprofit, PO Box 2742, Wrightwood, CA 92397
