On Friday, September 22nd, 2023

Senior Line Dancing – From 8:30am – 11:00am, great fun and exercise while learning to line dance and the best part is it’s FREE! Location: Phelan Senior Center at the Phelan Community Park, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.

Senior Game Day – From 10:00am – 4:00pm. Seniors step into the air-conditioned Phelan Senior Center to play games including Cribbage. The popular UNO card game begins at 3:00pm and ends at 6:00pm. Location: Phelan Senior Center, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.

Wrightwood Farmers Market – From 4:00pm – 7:00pm, locally grown fresh produce, artisan baked goods, jams, coffee, olive oil, honey, natural beauty products & soaps, and crafters can often be found at the Market. Location: In the Wrightwood Community Building at the corner of Park Drive and Hwy 2.

Friday Night Steak Dinner at The VFW – From 5:00pm-7:00pm, all are welcome to visit the VFW and get a complete delicious steak dinner ($22), alternate meals change each week between Ribs($14), Chicken($12), Pork Chops($12), and Fish n Chips($12) or a vegetarian alternate dinner. Kids meals available too! Proceeds help support the programs and outreach of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Phelan. Location: VFW Post 9415 in Phelan at the corner of Nielson and Johnson Roads.

SB County Sheriff’s Rodeo – From 6:00pm. Gates open 4pm. Tickets: Friday- $25. Saturday- $35. Sunday-, $20. Children 4-6 yrs $5 (Free on Sunday). Children 3 yrs and under free each night.  Parking is $10. Tickets at www.sheriffsrodeo.com.  Location: Glen Helen Regional Park 2555 Glen Helen Parkway, San Bernardino.

Calico Ghost Town Calico Days- From 9:00am-5:00pm. Celebrate the old west with an 1880s costume contest, reenactment skits, pie-eating contest, Miner’s Triathlon competition, Burro Run competition Bucket Brigade contest, live musical performances, games, arts & crafts and more. Adults $10, $5 ages 4-11, children under 3 are free. Location: Calico Ghost Town 36600 Ghost Town Road in Yermo.

Live Band at Mt. High North Lodge- From 4:00pm-8:00pm. Listen to great Country & Pop hits from Windy Ridge. Food & drinks at the North Lodge Grille & Pub. Free concert. Location: Mt. High North Lodge 24510 Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.
