It’s the final weekend of October and the Halloween events still going strong all weekend. On Friday, October 27th, 2023

Senior Line Dancing – From 8:30am – 11:00am, great fun and exercise while learning to line dance and the best part is it’s FREE! Location: Phelan Senior Center at the Phelan Community Park, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.

Senior Game Day – From 10:00am – 4:00pm. Seniors step into the air-conditioned Phelan Senior Center to play games including Cribbage. The popular UNO card game begins at 3:00pm and ends at 6:00pm. Location: Phelan Senior Center, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.

Camp Wrightwood Pumpkin Patch – From 2:00pm-6:00pm. Shop for pumpkins, bring cash and your Halloween spirit for a fantastic time! The pumpkin patch is only open on weekends. Friday’s 2:00pm-6:00pm, Saturdays and Sundays, 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Location: Camp Wrightwood 1401 Linnet Rd in Wrightwood.

Wrightwood Farmers Market – From 3:00pm – 6:00pm, locally grown fresh produce, artisan baked goods, jams, coffee, olive oil, honey, natural beauty products & soaps, and crafters can often be found at the Market. Location: In the Wrightwood Community Building at the corner of Park Drive and Hwy 2.

Friday Night Steak Dinner at The VFW – From 5:00pm-7:00pm, all are welcome to visit the VFW and get a complete delicious steak dinner ($22), alternate meals change each week between Ribs($14), Chicken($12), Pork Chops($12), and Fish n Chips($12) or a vegetarian alternate dinner. Kids meals available too! Proceeds help support the programs and outreach of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Phelan. Location: VFW Post 9415 in Phelan at the corner of Nielson and Johnson Roads.

Pinon Hills Elementary Festival – From 4:00pm-7:00pm. Games, raffles, unlimited bounce house & jumpers with $5 wristband, food vendors & local business booths. Wear your costumes.  Family fun. Open to the Community. Location: Pinon Hills Elementary 878 Mono Road in Pinon Hills.

Fear Farm Haunt – From: 7:00pm-10:00pm. Experience Sundown Manor and Chamber of the Damned, haunted mazes & more. Be prepared to be scared. Location: Fear Farm at 6275 Sundown Drive in Phelan.

International Blues at The Yodeler – From 8:00pm. One night special event featuring Croatian Harmonica Blues artist Tomislav Goluban. Open to the public at no charge, open seating. Location: The Yodeler at 6046 Park Drive in Wrightwood.

On Saturday, October 28th, 2023

13th Frightwood 5K, Mini Monster Mile & Drac Dash– From 3:00pm- 6:00pm. A run/walk for all ages & skill levels. Run thru the town, see decorated homes, watch out for ghouls. Costumes welcome. Awards & prizes.  For entry fees & info go to: wrightwoodrunningclub.com Location: Wrightwood Elementary 1175 Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.

Calvary Chapel Harvest Party- From 3:00pm-6:00pm. Fun games, various booths, bounce house, hayrides & candy.  Free. Costumes welcome. Location: Calvary Chapel Phelan 4501 Nielson Road

Hillside Church Pumpkin Bash – From 5:00pm. Free games. Trunk or treat. Costumes welcome.  Food available to buy. Bring the family for a fun afternoon. Location: Hillside Community Church 3221 Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.
