This weekends got a lot going on with music in Wrightwood to a Hazardous Waste Drop off event and even a Pistachio Festival.

On Friday, November 5, 2021

Senior Line Dancing – From 8:30am – 11:00am, great fun and exercise while learning to line dance and the best part is it’s FREE! Location: Phelan Senior Center at the Phelan Community Park, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.

Wrightwood Street Musicians – All Day, Enjoy local musicians performing in the Village remember to throw your tip into the hat.

Wrightwood Farmers Market – From 4:00pm – 7:00pm, locally grown fresh produce, artisan baked goods, jams, coffee, olive oil, honey, natural beauty products & soaps, and crafters can often be found at the Market. In the Wrightwood Community Building in Wrightwood, at the corner of Park Drive and Hwy 2.

Friday Night Steak Dinner At The VFW – From 5:00-7:00pm, all are welcome to visit the VFW and get a complete delicious steak dinner ($18), alternate meals change each week between Ribs($16), Chicken($12), Pork Chops($12), and Fish n Chips($12) or a vegetarian alternate dinner. Kids meals available too! and support the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Phelan. Location: VFW Post 9415 in Phelan at the corner of Nielson and Johnson Roads.

Senior UNO Game Evening – From 6:00 – 9:00pm, Seniors are welcome to enjoy an evening of UNO with drinks and dessert. Location: Phelan Senior Center at the Phelan Community Park, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.

On Saturday, November 6, 2021

Wrightwood Street Musicians – All Day, Enjoy local musicians performing in the Village remember to throw your tip into the hat.

23rd Pistachio Festival – From 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Art show, a variety of vendors, fun, food, games, and Pistachios. CJ’s Karaoke, Chico and the Band.  Free family fun. Check out their facebook page at NewberrySpringsChamber. Location: Newberry Springs Community Park, 30884 Newberry Road in Newberry Springs.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection – From 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Drop off all of your hazardous waste at this annual event. Household hazardous waste only- No business generated waste accepted, San Bernardino Co. residents only with ID.  Location: CR&R Service Yard at 9828 Buckwheat Road in Phelan.

On Saturday, November 7, 2021

LiveStream Blood Donation WRIGHTWOOD – from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, “Give Hope, Give Life, Give Love”. Donate blood today and give someone a second chance. LOCATION: Hillside Community Church at 3221 Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.

LiveStream Blood Donation PHELAN – from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, “Give Hope, Give Life, Give Love”. Donate blood today and give someone a second chance. LOCATION: St. Junipero Serra Catholic Church.
