Concerts take center stage this weekend with plenty of opportunities to hear live music right here in the Tri-Community. Senior Line Dancing – From 8:30am – 11:00am, great fun and exercise while learning to line dance and the best part is it’s FREE! Location: Phelan Senior Center at the Phelan Community Park, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.
Senior Game Day – From 10:00am – 4:00pm. Seniors step into the air-conditioned Phelan Senior Center to play games including Cribbage. The popular UNO card game begins at 3:00pm and ends at 6:00pm. Location: Phelan Senior Center, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.
Wrightwood Farmers Market – From 4:00pm – 7:00pm, locally grown fresh produce, artisan baked goods, jams, coffee, olive oil, honey, natural beauty products & soaps, and crafters can often be found at the Market. Location: In the Wrightwood Community Building at the corner of Park Drive and Hwy 2.
Friday Night Steak Dinner At The VFW – From 5:00pm-7:00pm, all are welcome to visit the VFW and get a complete delicious steak dinner ($22), alternate meals change each week between Ribs($14), Chicken($12), Pork Chops($12), and Fish n Chips($12) or a vegetarian alternate dinner. Kids meals available too! Proceeds help support the programs and outreach of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Phelan. Location: VFW Post 9415 in Phelan at the corner of Nielson and Johnson Roads.
Movie Night at Phelan Park– From 6:45pm. Watch DreamWorks “Puss ‘n Boots- The Last Chance.” Drinks and snacks available. Bring your family & chairs. Hosted by PPHCSD & Tri-Community Kiwanis. Location: Phelan Community Park on Warbler & Sheep Creek Roads in Phelan.

Dillon Adams Skate Park Dedication – From 10:00am. Celebrating and remembering Dillon Adams, an avid skateboarder and beloved community member. The Wrightwood Skate Park will be dedicated in honor of Dillon. Location: Dillon Adams Skate Park at 1199 Pine St in Wrightwood.
Amateur Radio Field Day– From 10:00am, June 24th – 10:00am, June 25th. Various stations set-up: GOTA (Get On The Air) a station where anyone can talk on the radio or even do some Morse Code, info table, Microwave radio info, education area where Hams will answer any questions. All are welcome to explore the hobby. Presented by the Antelope Valley Amateur Radio Club (K6OX). Location: Mtn High North Resort Parking Lot in Wrightwood.
4 Year Celebration of Love Roots Yoga Shala – From 1:00pm-3:00pm. Open house at the yoga studio where you can meet yoga instructors, try free sampler classes, and enjoy some refreshments. Location: Love Roots Yoga Shala 1329 Hwy 2 in Wrightwood upstairs next to the Dentist.
The Red Barn Opry – From 5:00pm. Great night of live entertainment from Rebecca Batzel, Mike Kelly & the Slick Pickers, A Boy Named Sue, and Southern Spirit. Location: The Red Barn on 1364 Oriole Road in Wrightwood.
Music at Mt. High North Lodge– From 4:00pm-8:00pm. Blues and Country by Joe Ferraro. Food & drinks at the North Lodge Grille & Pub. Free concert. Location: Mt. High North Lodge Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.
Live Band at My Hero Subs & Pub – From 6:00pm-10:00pm. Parking Lot Party. Enjoy live music by The Nomads band. Bring you chair. Food to purchase inside. Location: My Hero at 4190 Phelan Road in
