On Friday, December 8th 2023
Senior Line Dancing – From 8:30am – 11:00am, great fun and exercise while learning to line dance and the best part is it’s FREE! Location: Phelan Senior Center at the Phelan Community Park, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.
Wrightwood Farmers Market – From 3:00pm – 6:00pm, locally grown fresh produce, artisan baked goods, jams, coffee, olive oil, honey, natural beauty products & soaps, and crafters can often be found at the Market. Location: In the Wrightwood Community Building at the corner of Park Drive and Hwy 2.
Friday Night Steak Dinner at The VFW – From 5:00pm-7:00pm, all are welcome to visit the VFW and get a complete delicious steak dinner ($22), alternate meals change each week between Ribs($14), Chicken($12), Pork Chops($12), and Fish n Chips($12) or a vegetarian alternate dinner. Kids meals available too! Proceeds help support the programs and outreach of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Phelan. Location: VFW Post 9415 in Phelan at the corner of Nielson and Johnson Roads.
Angel Tree Fundraiser at Mama Maria’s– From 11:00am -9:00pm. Eat at Mama Maria’s on Friday the 8th and they will donate 20% of all sales to the Angel Tree program. If you can’t make it to this event donations can also be made on the Phelan Chamber website: phelanchamber.info Just $65 provides gifts for one child. Holiday Boutique at Traded Threads – From 4:00pm. An evening of shopping at the new Traded Threads clothing store in Wrightwood. There will be raffles, drinks and various local vendors to shop from. Location: Traded Threads upstairs from the Village Grind on Park Dr. in Wrightwood.
Live Performance at Wrightwood Brew Co.– From 6:00pm-9:00pm. Enjoy “An Evening with Chris Murphy: Violin Music From Around the World”. Location: Wrightwood Brew Co on top of Park Drive in Wrightwood.

VFW Swap Meet Yard Sale– From 7:00am. Come wheel and deal. Spend at least $10 to earn raffle tickets for great prizes. Playground for kids, food & drinks available. Spaces available for $5. Location: Phelan VFW Post 9415 at 4892 Nielson Road in Phelan.
Visit with Santa at the Wrightwood Library– From 9:00am-11:00am. A special winter holiday event. Celebrate the season at the Library with festive music, special crafts, and read holiday stories with Santa. Fun for the whole family. Location: Wrightwood Library on corner of Apple and Pine in Wrightwood.
Community Teaching Garden -From 10:00am. Gardening 101. Tree Planting and Pruning. Learn how simple gardening can be from Master Gardener Michelle Hannon. Free class. All ages welcome. Location: Phelan Park Community Garden off Sheep Creek in Phelan.
Wrightwood Artisan Boutique and Craft Fair– From 10:00am -3:00pm. Come by and browse unique one-of-a-kind art, home decor, handcrafted gifts from several local artisans. Location: Wrightwood Artisans Boutique on the corner of Cedar & Laura Streets in Wrightwood.
Holiday Jewelry Soldering Workshop– From 10:00am-4:00pm. Enjoy a Soldering class and learn the skills of Jewelry making. Take home a beautiful piece of jewelry that you create as a one of a kind piece. Workshop is $65 and is limited to 10 people max. Come and bring a friend. Holiday Movie at the Phelan Library – From 2:00pm-4:00pm. Enjoy a great holiday movie with your family at the Phelan Library. Don’t forget to enter the opportunity drawing while you are there for the amazing gift baskets that are on display. Basket winners will be announced on Wednesday, December 13th. Location: Phelan Memorial Library 9800 Clovis Road in Phelan
“Dancing with the World” Art Exhibit Opening – From 4:00-6:00pm. View amazing artwork of acrylic paintings and photography by artist Karen Godfrey. Location: Community Arts Center & Gallery 6045 Park Dr. in Wrightwood.
Holiday Gift Wrapping at Mills Hardware – From 4:00pm-7:00pm. Bring your unwrapped gifts to Mills Hardware and have them wrapped by Serrano FFA. Enjoy a steaming cup of hot cocoa topped with marshmallows and the festive holiday atmosphere while our community group volunteer wrappers wrap your gifts. 100% of your donation will benefit the community group wrapping your gifts. Suggested donations: $3 for small gifts, $6 for medium and $8 for large. Location: Mills Hardware 3936 Phelan Rd in Phelan.
Live Music at the Big Rock Bar– From 8:30pm-11:30pm. Enjoy music from the Joe Ferrero Band. Drinks and food will be available for purchase. Location: The Big Rock Bar & Grill at 1828 Hwy 138 in Pinon Hills.
