Christmas is just about a week away and this weekend is packed full of Christmas events in the Tri-Community that you don’t want to miss. Senior Line Dancing – From 8:30am – 11:00am, great fun and exercise while learning to line dance and the best part is it’s FREE! Location: Phelan Senior Center at the Phelan Community Park, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.
Senior Game Day – From 12:00pm – 6:00pm. Seniors step into the air-conditioned Phelan Senior Center to play games including Cribbage. The popular UNO card game begins at 3:00pm and ends at 6:00pm. Location: Phelan Senior Center, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.
Wrightwood Farmers Market – From 3:00pm – 6:00pm, locally grown fresh produce, artisan baked goods, jams, coffee, olive oil, honey, natural beauty products & soaps, and crafters can often be found at the Market. Location: In the Wrightwood Community Building at the corner of Park Drive and Hwy 2.
Friday Night Steak Dinner At The VFW – From 5:00-7:00pm, all are welcome to visit the VFW and get a complete delicious steak dinner ($22), alternate meals change each week between Ribs($14), Chicken($12), Pork Chops($12), and Fish n Chips($12) or a vegetarian alternate dinner. Kids meals available too! Proceeds help support the programs and outreach of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Phelan. Location: VFW Post 9415 in Phelan at the corner of Nielson and Johnson Roads.
Serrano High School Dinner Show – From 7:00pm. Night of food, music and Holiday cheer. Tickets range from $25-$35. Available at eventbrite.com Presented by Serrano Choir Department. Location: Serrano High School Cafeteria on Sheep Creek Road.
Blues Night Open Mic– From 8:00pm-11:00pm. Join the Wrightwood Blues Society for a special Christmas Edition of open mic night. Bring your instruments, voices, dancing shoes, and good spirits for this fun event. Location: The Yodeler on Park Street in Wrightwood.

Kids Christmas Painting Class – From 9:00am (ages 5-12) & 11:00am (ages 13 and up). Bobsleds and Brushes painting class. Your child can make a beautiful Christmas painting. RSVP required at www.pphcsd.org/events. Location: Phelan Senior Center on Warbler Road.

Old Fashioned Christmas Carols & Treats– From 4:00pm. Bring your guitars, percussion drums, any children/or older groups who would like to come & sing. A mini grand keyboard will be set up.
