Wrightwood is getting ready for the Christmas season with its Wrightwood Mountain Holiday Celebration 2021. The Village Shops will be open from 10am until 8pm on Friday, November 26th and Saturday the 27th. The town comes alive Friday where holiday spirit can be seen and heard throughout the Village with colorful lights and decorations, music, hayrides, activities for children, Holiday photo opportunities, and the North Pole Mail Box to mail Santa letters.
The Great Elf Hunt will start on Friday. Join the fun by visiting the participating Village businesses to pick-up a form. While there, look for the Elf letter hidden somewhere inside. Write the letter on your form to help solve the holiday phrase. When completed return your form to one of the participating businesses to be entered in the drawing for great prizes donated by local merchants.
The festivities continue on Saturday at 10am with another day of fun activities culminating at 6pm with the 20th Annual Parade of Lights in the Village. Anything that moves can be in the Parade. Motorized vehicles, bicycles, wagons, buggies, horses, dogs and more, all decorated with Christmas lights and decorations. The Parade will travel through the heart of Wrightwood. For a complete schedule of events or if you’d like to participate in the parade, applications are available online at wrightwoodchamber.org or at the Wrightwood Chamber office located at 1350 Hwy 2, Ste E, 760-249-4320. There is no entry fee for the parade, but you must submit an application. Entries will be judged in 6 categories.
