Coming soon! The annual Chili Cook-Off and Salsa Contest, hosted by the Wrightwood Chamber of Commerce, will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026. If you have a favorite recipe for chili or salsa, start fine-tuning your specialty now.
Those interested in participating as a contestant or vendor can visit wrightwoodchamber.org for online entry forms, rules, and general information. Entry is $25 for Chili contestants and $5 for Salsa contestants. You can also get a Chili tasting kit for $10 or Salsa tasting kit for $5.
The event will feature a variety of activities, such as sampling all the contestants’ chili and salsa recipes, a jalapeño eating contest, DJ music, merchandise vendors, and the Chamber’s 50/50 opportunity drawing.
The day’s festivities will be held at the Wrightwood Community Building and on Park Drive. Don’t wait to register for a Chili or Salsa entry and for those daring enough, the jalapeno eating contest at wrightwoodchamber.org
