Summer activities at the Phelan Community Park offered by the Phelan/Pinon Hills CSD Parks & Recreation Department and hosted by the Tri-Community Kiwanis will continue through the end of July. The entire family can enjoy activities, classes, and movies.
Friday Night Family Movies in the Park begins at Dusk, starting on July 9th with “Raya and The Last Dragon.” July 14th “The Bad Guys.” July 21st “Luck.” July 28th “Minions-The Rise of Gru.”
Community Teaching Garden Classes taught by Master Gardener Michelle Hannon are held every 2nd Saturday of each month at 10 am. July 8th class is Mulch/Watering Wisely. Free to all ages. RSVP for the following Summer Activities at www.pphcsd.org and visit the website for more info.
Fitness/Dance Classes in the Park are on Tuesdays, July 11, 18 & 25th. Fitness begins at 9 am, and Dance starts at 10 am. All ages are welcome.
Painting in the Park with Sunshine Bright Paint on July 6, 13, 20 & 27th. Ages 5-12 at 9 am and ages 13 & up at 11 am.
Kid’s Archery Lessons with Mojave Archers on July 6, & 13th from 9-11 am. This class is located at the west corner of Cayucos and Sheep Creek Road and is hosted by the Mojave Archers.
The Phelan Community Park is open to the Community at 4176 Warbler Road, so why not plan a family picnic during the summer?
